Gold Key Media Thames Path Challenge

The team at Gold Key Media set out to walk the Thames Path Challenge in order to raise funds for UCARE, a charity committed to Urology Cancer Research and Education.

On Sunday 9th July, 18 members of the Gold Key Media team set off from Staines-upon-Thames at 08:00. Covering a distance of 30 miles, the team walked for 10 hours along the river and ended at the final destination in Putney at 18:00.

Valerie Berry, Senior Executive from UCARE says: “Our very grateful thanks go to Gold Key Media for their wonderful support and enthusiastic fundraising for UCARE.  The goal of UCARE [Urology Cancer Research and Education] is to continue to make a difference in improving outcomes for people with urological cancer. With the help of donations from supporters such as Gold Key Media, we will continue to see improvements in the treatment and care of cancer patients through research and education. When we work together, we are stronger than when we work alone [anon].”

A total of £4716.72 has been raised so far for this independent charity. Managing Director of Gold Key Media, Chris Horn says: ““We were delighted to support this wonderful cause and to help raise funds for UCARE. It was a painful 30 miles but worth every step for the support we received and the money we raised.”
