Publisher Account Manager – Full Time, Permanent Role – Based in Soho, London
Specialist audience engagement agency and media distributor, Gold Key Media, are looking for an experienced Account Manager to join their expanding Publisher Services team. Specialising in the creation of highly targeted campaigns, Gold Key Media provide clients with access to corporate offices, hotels, health spas, airlines, private clubs and many other channels within the travel and leisure sectors. With a dedicated Events division, we offer placement programmes at high profile events such as the London Fashion Weeks, Monaco Grand Prix, and the G7 Summit. We also develop bespoke brand-to-hand activity and promotional marketing campaigns.
Becoming an important part of a dedicated team, reporting to the Head of Publisher Services, you would be responsible for the following areas:
- Manage existing and new accounts across the publishing industry incorporating the consumer, free and content marketing sectors
- Actively promote the full range of Gold Key Media services including copy placement, brand-to-hand sampling, and events marketing
- Identify new business opportunities for Gold Key Media within the media industry
- Build and nurture client relationships and attend industry functions
The successful candidate will have proven account management and client relationship skills, a high level of energy and enthusiasm and will be comfortable working individually and as part of a team in an often pressurised environment. They will have strong negotiation skills, a thirst and flair for sales, as well as plenty of initiative.
Essential qualifying criteria are a minimum of four years’ experience working in account management, preferably in the media sector.
