Last week The Gold Key Media team attended the prestigious ACE 2022 NMA Awards and were delighted to be awarded with The Philanthropist Of The Year Award, sponsored by Newstraid.
The award was in recognition of their efforts to support the NHS during the Covid Pandemic, where they secured over £9million worth of products from across their client and supplier contacts. GKM then distributed these products to hospitals across the country for the Project Wingman “First Class Lounges” that were set up and hosted by Flight Crew from the airline industry. These lounges offered a brief respite for frontline NHS staff and gave them somewhere they could try to recover when they couldn’t get home. In addition Gold Key Media gave everyone across the NHS free access to their digital entertainment platform, loaded with daily newspapers, weekly and monthly magazines, games, puzzles and podcasts. GKM were awarded Founder Sponsor status by the Project Wingman Charity for their significant input and impact on the programme. GKM are incredibly grateful for all the support and donations that came from across the publishing industry, as well as clients from across their F&B, Hotel, Cosmetic and Lifestyle client base.
